We were established as a specialist training company for constructing overseas channels and expanding sales of Japanese brands.
The company name “PLUS EIGHTY-ONE” was taken from the Japanese international telephone country code of “+81”, and is based on the concept of continuing to communicate products containing the excellent technology and ideas of Japan so that they will be recognized throughout the world.
Our current company activities are not simply limited to distribution and commercial arrangements, and we are handling many requests and issues from companies looking to newly promote their business abroad, such as in local market surveys (marketing) and business partner searches (business matching).
We are making maximum use of the know-how cultivated over the past 10 years, and with consideration of the different national characteristics, customs and tastes of each country, we propose the plans that best fit that particular country when assisting our customers to expand their sales overseas.

Since our foundation, we started cultivating sales routes in Southeast Asia, which exhibited remarkable growth, and among these Vietnam is a market in which we have gained particular expertise.
Vietnam has a large population of younger people, and promises strong economic growth moving forward. It is also characterized by the fact that a large percentage of the working population are women. In our company, we feel we “want to use” those people with a high awareness of beauty and health, as well as fathers and mothers currently engaged in child rearing. We are thus introducing high quality and highly safe Japanese products that are easy to use over a wide area, and focusing on the “current” Vietnam market, while building close ties with local partner companies.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to visit our website. Within the world economy, which is changing at a frantic pace, the myth of Japanese-made products is already beginning to crumble, and relying on ideas such as “it is made in Japan so it cannot be helped if it is expensive”, or “it is made in Japan, so you’ll understand if you use it just once” no longer works.
At our company, we consider the questions of “even in the case of products for which costs would be high overseas, how can we express this to consumers in a way that they will see that the value matches the price” and “what can we do to make customers take the product in their hands (capture trial users) and then keep on using them (capture repeat users)”, surveying national characteristics and marketability for that country before proposing sales strategies, and helping them build their brand overseas.
